I arrived in the Big Apple yesterday evening. Before leaving Pittsburgh, I had begun a dialogue with a solo designer seeking a Design Assistant. He had asked that I get in touch with him once I had arrived in the city.
Unfortunately, in reaching out to him this afternoon, I have learned that he has already filled the position. It is a disappointment, to be sure, but I refuse to lose face. I’ll just have to spend some more time tomorrow applying for other available positions.
It’s easier just to re-blog this from my other blog. ^
